About the Film
In the early days of the pandemic, Andrea Meyerson, founder of Women On A Roll, launched an online platform for lesbians and queer women. She called it Women On The Net. Five nights a week, Meyerson provided a place for women all over the world to gather and share a wide range of entertaining programming. Feelings of isolation and loneliness were replaced with joy, laughter, and new friends — all via Zoom. An Unexpected Community captures the magic these women shared during one of the most challenging events in our lifetime.

Important Updates Regarding this Weekend's Events
- Saturday, 11/16—Los Angeles Film Premiere: Ticket holders, be sure to print out the e-ticket that was emailed to you when completing your purchase. This is your admission ticket. You will need it to get into the event on Saturday. Search for an email with the subject title: "Los Angeles LGBT Center: Order Confirmation." Doors will open at 7:15pm. Last minute attendees, tickets will be available for purchase at the door starting at 7:15pm (subject to availability).
- Sunday, 11/17—Wrap-Party Luncheon: Only five spots remaining! If interested in attending, purchase your tickets soon before it sells out! Tickets will not be available at the door.
