It is with great excitement that I offer this exclusive Women On A Roll tour: an exploration of authentic Japan!

After nearly 30 years of taking women traveling around the world, this is our first trip to Japan. And for me, visiting this country has been a lifelong dream! So what have we been waiting for? Perhaps to find just the right company to align with!

Established in 1979, Esprit Travel & Tours is one of the oldest US organizations specializing in tours to Japan. I have worked closely with the president of the company and our expert tour guide to customize a trip that would offer a truly magical experience―I am thrilled to have found Esprit, they’re the perfect company to partner with!

TOKYO

The world’s largest metropolis, Tokyo is cosmopolitan, sophisticated, sparkling clean, and filled with unexpected moments of serenity.

KYOTO

Japan’s ancient capital, Kyoto was the seat of the imperial line for over 1,000 years and is home to exquisite temples, the pinnacle of Japanese gardens, and crafts from ceramics to textiles.

MATSUMOTO

Survey the Japan Alps from atop a 16th Century castle, then journey into the mountains for a luxury ryokan stay, complete with onsen hot spring baths

NARAI-JUKU

Journey back to the days of the samurai in this beautifully preserved mountain town. Narai-Juki is one of Japan's Nationally Designated Architectural Preservation Sites.

KANAZAWA

Optional extension to Kanazawa, named Best of the World 2025 by National Geographic for its mix of samurai and geisha culture, contemporary art and architecture, and cuisine.

Included in the Main Tour:

  • Accommodations for ten nights in luxury hotels: Hyatt Centric Ginza Tokyo, Myojinkan Ryokan, and Hilton Kyoto
  • Daily breakfast and additional meals as indicated (seven lunches and four dinners)
  • Round-trip airport transfers by private car
  • All internal trains and buses for the tour, including a trip on Japan’s famous Shinkansen “Bullet train” in Green Car (first class)
  • Shipping of one bag per person from Tokyo to Kyoto
  • Informative commentary by an Esprit tour leader who is fluent in Japanese, using our unique radio headset system
  • Japanese-speaking assistant
  • Admissions and local transportation
