Join us for a hike through Kenneth Hahn State Park, one of the best kept secrets in the city.

Sunday, September 18

Faith and Jennifer will lead you through this beautiful State Park where we will visit a Japanese garden with Koi pond, up a winding trail through pine trees, sage brush and eucalyptus groves to the crest line which features stunning panoramic views of the city and ocean. Lots of birds and native plants to look at as well as a man-made river and lake with a variety of waterfowl.  This hike is a moderate 2.5 mile loop trail. Call Faith with any questions (310) 874-5555.

Directions: The Park is located off of La Cienega Blvd. From the 10 Freeway, take the La Cienega exit south. The exit to the park is on La Cienega, just 1/4 mile South of Jefferson Blvd./Rodeo Street. Take the park exit and turn left. Once you have paid the parking fee, take the first left past pay booth at the sign marked Olympic Forest.  There is a large parking lot. We will meet at the picnic benches near the parking area closest to the sign. Parking fee is $6 (weekends only).  Dogs on leash okay. Rain within 24 hours cancels.
