Tucked away in the peaceful hills behind Orange, 354-acre Peters Canyon Regional Park is a unique blend of native vegetation and scenic trails that appeals to nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts of all types. We will do a 3.5 mile moderate loop where we will encounter abundant wildlife, including many different types of birds. Lush groves of willows and black cottonwoods intertwine with a rambling creek and a 50-acre lake.
Dogs on leash are welcome.

Directions: Take the 5 Freeway to Irvine to exit 100 for Jamboree Road. Drive north for 5.3 miles on Jamboree Road and turn left onto Canyon View Avenue. Proceed 0.2 miles and turn left into the main entrance for Peters Canyon Regional Park.


Parking: $3 per car. Meet at the benches in the circle in the center of the far parking lot.  Bring water and snacks. Rain within 24 hours cancels. Questions? Call Faith (310) 874-5555.
