You are invited to join Women On A Roll for the Women’s March this Saturday. Last year nearly 200 women met up with us (or at least attempted to).

Women’s March
Saturday, January 20
7:45-8am: WOAR Meeting Time
8:15am: WOAR Departure Time
9am: March Oficially Begins

It was so crowded last year, it was impossible to actually March to the final destination. This year we are going to meet and leave early. We will depart from our meeting location (Checkers Hotel Lobby), cross over to Pershing Square and get a head start on the March Route in order to ensure we will make it to the steps of City Hall to hear the speakers.

Women's March_T_1If you own a Women On A Roll shirt from the March last year or another event, please consider wearing it. Also, we have a few shirts remaining (large and 2XL) and I will have them available at the meeting location. If you would like a shirt, a $10 donation to cover some of our cost is appreciated.

Please Note: We will not be providing signs this year. Please feel free to bring your own if you would like to carry one.

About the March: On January 20, 2018, cities across California, and the United States will unite to reaffirm our commitment to building a positive and just future for all, and to celebrate the spirit of resistance efforts over the past year. This day of action is designed to engage and empower all people to support women’s rights, human rights, social and environmental justice, and to encourage participation in 2018 midterm elections.
