Fitness Trainer & Nutritionist Terri West will lead this intermediate hike which starts on a fire road and continues up a well developed rocky trail. The hike will last approximately two hours, with a break halfway through at a waterfall. Though scenic, this hike will test your endurance. Bring water and snacks! Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed on this hike.

Rain cancels within 24 hours of the outing.

Location:
We will meet near restrooms furthest north which are located just before the hiking entrance, not the restrooms near the first parking at entrance.

Directions: From Los Angeles, head west on the Santa Monica Freeway (10) to its end and continue up-coast on Pacific Coast Highway. Turn north (right) on Temescal Canyon Road and drive 1.1 miles. Just after the intersection with Sunset Boulevard, turn left into the parking area (fee at self-pay station) for Temescal Gateway Park. There is free street parking along Sunset Blvd. Once inside the park, be sure to make a full stop at Stop signs as there are cameras that will cite you.
